- Carrier aggregation, Massive MIMO, Beamforming
- NR architecture: gNodeB, split functions (RU/DU/CU)
- Cloud RAN and vRAN
- Real-time vs. non-real-time processing in cloud-native RAN
Day 3: 5G RAN Architecture & Virtualization
- Centralized RAN (C-RAN), Distributed RAN (D-RAN), Open RAN
- DU/CU split (3GPP Option 2, 7.x)
- O-RAN Alliance architecture
- Containers in RAN workloads
- Kubernetes orchestration in vRAN
Day 4: 5G Core Network – Service-Based Architecture (SBA)
- Transition from EPC (4G) to 5GC (5G)

- UPF in Edge Computing (MEC) context

- Fault isolation and scaling in a microservices-based core
Day 6: 5G Transport Network & Virtualization
- Fronthaul, Midhaul, Backhaul – integration with RAN/Core
- Transport technologies: Ethernet, IP/MPLS, DWDM, SDN
- SDN controllers and APIs
- Timing and latency requirements in virtualized networks
- Transport slice support for 5G services
Day 7: 5G Protocols, Interfaces & Cloud Integration
- N2/N3/N6/N1/N4/N11 interfaces
- Control/User Plane split (CUPS)
- Interface exposure through APIs
- Kubernetes-native networking
